I started it because I couldn’t find the kind of romantasy coverage I wanted to read: opinionated, deeply engaged, written by someone who actually loves the books rather than someone optimising for search traffic.

About Vellichor
We cover the romantasy genre with editorial depth. Not listicles. Not “10 books like ACOTAR” written by someone who hasn’t read ACOTAR. Genuine criticism, close reading, and recommendations that come from a real point of view. Our Ultimate Guide to the Romantasy Genre is the most comprehensive overview of the genre I know of. Our master reading list covers 50+ books across every subgenre, updated regularly.
